Central PMQ, Creative Square | 10 x Together, 10 x The Celebration! PMQ Coffee Agenda 2025 returns in October

Description
Organised by PMQ and co-presented by Coffeeder, the annual coffee event PMQ Coffee Agenda will make a triumphant return from 31 October to 2 November 2025. Embracing the spirit of local creativity and dedicated to elevating the status of baristas, PMQ Coffee Agenda has been nurturing Hong Kong's coffee culture since 2018 through its yearly festivals, professional competitions, and countless cross-industry collaborations.
Marking its tenth gathering, this year's three-day event transforms into a grand coffee celebration, with an upgraded lineup and programme that's bigger and better than ever! Alongside a star-studded line-up of world champions, this year’s programme shines a spotlight on local prowess—bringing together award-winning Hong Kong baristas from overseas and the new “Gen C” (Generation Coffee) for a series of inspiring talks and coffee experiences. Over 40 local and international brands will join under one roof, together with the professional Hong Kong Barista Championship 2025 and a non-stop stage programme — inviting coffee lovers to gather, sip and savour every moment!
World Champions and Award-Winning Barista Take the Stage
As one of the pioneering large-scale coffee events, PMQ Coffee Agenda has long bridged local and international baristas, fostering exchanges that broaden horizons for the industry and enthusiasts alike. For this milestone tenth edition, the event welcomes four acclaimed international baristas, including Mikael Jasin from Indonesia, the newly crowned 2024 World Barista Champion (WBC), and Georgius Audrey Teja, the 2025 World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion (WCiGS). They will bring their celebrated Jakarta café concept Omakafé to Hong Kong for an immersive tasting experience. Also, Matt Winton from Switzerland, the 2021 World Brewers Cup Champion (WBrC), alongside Sierra Yeo, the 2022 UK Brewers Cup Champion (UKBrC) , will engage with coffee lovers at the festival and in an interactive session.
Another highlight is the return of three local baristas who have excelled overseas: Zenki Ho, the champion of the 2023 Hong Kong Brewers Cup (HKBrC) and owner of Moonshine Coffee Roasters in Taipei; Edmond Keung, 2nd place in the 2019 Canadian Brewers Cup (CBrC); and Charity Cheung, champion of the 2022 and 2024 French Brewers Cup (FrBrC) and 5th place winner at the 2024 World Brewers Cup (WBrC). Together with Frederick Bejo, the champion of the 2024 UAE Brewers Cup (UAEBrC), they will bring a variety of flavours from around the world and share their experiences from participating in international competitions.
10 Local Talent Shines! “Gen C” Newcomers and Champion Baristas Unite
Beyond the global spotlight, PMQ Coffee Agenda is rooted in Hong Kong’s specialty coffee scene — providing a platform for local baristas to connect and exchange ideas, pushing boundaries and growing with the industry. This year introduces three rising stars of “Gen C” (Generation Coffee) : Bavis Kwong, champion of the 2025 Hong Kong Brewers Cup (HKBrC); Ricky Chan, champion of the 2025 Hong Kong Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (HKCiGS); and Penny Pang, champion of the 2023 Hong Kong Barista Championship (HKBC). They will present the “3x Surprise: Gen C Coffee Experience”, using a single curated coffee, each will interpret it through their signature craft — hand-brewed, coffee cocktails, and espresso. Additionally, during the “Become a Judge: Sensory Experience” event, the three “Gen C” baristas will take on the role of participants while the audience acts as judges. Guided by WCC-certified judges Josie Cheng and Sophie Chan, they will use score sheets to evaluate their performances, offering an engaging and informative way to experience and understand the coffee judging process.
In addition, the event features seven local champion baristas and coffee experts who will be on-site for interactive sessions! Among them are Sofie Chan, champion of the 2025 World Siphonist Championship (WSC); Chloe Lai, who placed 6th in the 2024 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCiGS) and won the 2023 HKCiGS; Keith Tse, who placed 5th in the 2016 World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and is a five-time Hong Kong Latte Art Championship (HKLAC) winner; and Timmy Lam, 2nd place in the 2019 World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship (WCiGS).

At the heart of the celebration is a curated marketplace featuring over 40 local and overseas brands spanning coffee, roasting, equipment, and gourmet delights – each with its own story and flair.
